This forward-thinking business are now looking for a Brand Head of Finance to build on their success as they continue to scale their brands. You'll work side-by-side with the senior leadership team, bridging the gap with central finance. It's a hands-on, commercially minded role where your eye for detail and strategic input will help shape decisions and drive the business forward.
Job Requirements As a Head of Finance, you will:
- Own the end-to-end monthly management accounts process for the brand — including timely P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reporting, robust balance sheet reconciliations, and a well-controlled month-end close aligned with Group deadlines.
- Manage day-to-day cashflow and working capital, flagging risks and supporting spend decisions
- Maintain and report on site-level capex schedules, ensuring transparency and alignment with Group
- Act as the primary point of contact for all day-to-day finance queries across the brand
- Lead and support the development of the finance team.
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance with Group financial policies and internal control frameworks
- Act as the lead finance business partner to the SLT
- Lead annual budgeting and reforecasting across P&L, labour, site contribution, variable costs and capex
- Provide weekly and monthly performance insights, surfacing risks and opportunities across trading, margins, and cost control
- Own labour cost forecasting, rota modelling, tronc planning and related analysis - ensuring fairness, clarity and operational alignment
- Provide decision support on promotions, pricing, menu engineering, operating models and new openings
Key Person Requirements This Head of Finance role will suit someone who is:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with 3-5+ years of post-qualified experience in commercially focused finance roles
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant multi-site environments is essential
- Proven ability to influence, challenge and support non-finance stakeholders in fast-paced, decentralised environments
- Must have a commercially-minded approach with strong analytical and modelling skills
- Confident presenting financial insight to senior leaders and constructively challenging assumptions
- Have strong understanding of tronc and recent legislation
- Experience in managing and leading fast paced finance teams
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tenzo) is a plus
