We are a friendly and inclusive primary school in Dudley, seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team in supporting pupils with a variety of special educational needs (SEN). This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of children with diverse needs, including Autism, ADHD, physical disabilities, and social/emotional difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing tailored support for pupils with different SEN needs, both in and outside the classroom.

  • Assisting with personal care when necessary (e.g., toileting, feeding) in a respectful and compassionate manner.

  • Supporting the class teacher to implement differentiated activities and learning strategies.

  • Engaging pupils through sensory-based learning, promoting inclusion and independence.

  • Working closely with the SENCO, teachers, and other professionals to create effective learning plans for each child.

  • Demonstrating a flexible, adaptable, and positive approach to meet the changing needs of the students.

  • Encouraging the development of key skills such as social interaction, communication, and emotional regulation.

About You:
  • You hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.

  • You have a friendly, adaptable, and flexible approach to your work and are committed to supporting students in their learning journey.

  • You have the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond proactively to the changing needs of SEN pupils.

  • You are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children, helping them to reach their full potential.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
