Female Live-In Carer - Complex Needs Support

Location: Bedford
 Shift Pattern: 1 week on / 1 week off (Monday 12:00 - Sunday 12:00)
Pay: £854.70 per week + food allowance

Are you an experienced and dedicated live-in carer looking to make a real difference? Sonderwell is seeking compassionate Female Live-In Carers to support a client with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviour.

You'll provide consistent, person-centred care by living with the client during your scheduled shifts, supporting their daily routines, and helping them engage with the community.

 About the Role

• Live-in care during your working week (1 week on / 1 week off)

• Support a client who enjoys activities such as walks, pub lunches, dancing, and day trips

• You'll have a dedicated daily break while remaining present in the home

• Be part of a small, close-knit support team

What We Offer

• Comprehensive training - online and classroom-based

• Support to achieve NVQ qualifications in Health & Social Care

• Ongoing guidance from a Care Coordinator or Nurse Manager

 What We're Looking For

• Previous live-in care experience

• Experience supporting individuals with:

  • Learning disabilities

  • Autism spectrum disorder

  • Challenging behaviour

• Compassionate, empathetic, and dependable personality

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Calm under pressure and confident in managing behavioural challenges

• Ability to work independently with initiative

• Adult with learning disabilities and autism

• May exhibit challenging behaviour

• Enjoys music, being social, and staying active in the community
