As Senior Bookkeeper, you will be part of a small business services team providing outsourced bookkeeping services to a portfolio of clients. Role Overview:

Manage bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of clients
Prepare and submit VAT returns
Handle CIS returns and related processes
Support day-to-day financial transactions
Assist clients with accounting software and queries
Provide support to payroll when needed.
The Ideal Candidate:

Previous bookkeeping, VAT, CIS or transactional finance experience
Experience with software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS or FreeAgent
Confident communicator who enjoys working with clients
Organised and efficient with the ability to prioritise workload
Payroll is advantageous but not essential
As is experience in an accountancy firm but again, this is not essential as applicants with bookkeeping experience from any industry sector will be considered.
