Our client is a prominent independent financial planning firm in the UK, dedicated to providing clients with personalised financial planning to help them achieve their life goals.
The firm is currently experiencing significant growth, leading to the expansion of their operations team.
It's a comprehensive Paraplanner role compared to some other firms, as you'd be preparing cash flow reports, performing technical calculations, and attending client meetings occasionally.
You'd be joining a very relaxed team that will happily support your professional development.
What will you be doing?
- Assist Financial Planners by applying your technical expertise to provide client solutions.
- Work collaboratively to achieve optimal client outcomes and deliver high levels of client service.
- Build and maintain client relationships, establishing yourself as a key contact.
- Conduct research, analysis, and due diligence on client holdings.
- Prepare technical calculations and gather necessary information to compile financial plans.
- Generate client cash flow reports using cash flow modelling software.
- Draft suitability reports to a high standard, aligned with recommendations.
- Attend client meetings when appropriate.
- Ensure planners and clients are regularly and promptly updated throughout the client journey.
- Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with the client services support team to ensure recommendations are implemented correctly.
- Review client files upon completion of business.

The ideal person:
- Around 2+ years as a Paraplanner
- Or maybe you’re a trainee paraplanner with your Level 4 Diploma
- Good knowledge of various financial planning products, maybe you also do some technical calculations.
