History Teacher - Reading, Berkshire

An independent school setting in Reading, Berkshire is seeking a committed History Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to KS5 learning. This is a fantastic role for an experienced educator with a proven background in Secondary History teaching.

Responsibilities Include:

Develop and lead well-structured schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with the mission and curriculum.
Provide high-quality feedback - oral and written, to support pupil progression.
Collaborate with SENCO to prepare and review IEPs and support SEND learners effectively.
Maintain excellent standards of behaviour through consistency and positive modelling.

Requirements

QTS and relevant degree in History (ideal)
Experience teaching KS3-4 History (essential) - KS5 desirable.
Commitment to safeguarding, CPD and inclusive learning.
A proactive and dynamic teaching method and mindset.
