Personal Protection Officer Position Summary: This role involves conducting close protection and providing efficient and high-quality support directly to the client, and staff as needed. Officers safeguard client assets and work independently on projects, from conception to completion. Personal Protection Officers are expected to competently respond to any situation that may arise while supporting the client.
Provide briefings and instruction to others on security requirements and policies. Demonstrate leadership, teamwork and organizational skills and the ability to write in a clear and precise manner.
Provide covert and overt executive protection to the designated principal(s).
Work within a cross-functional team.
Report to the executive protection management team.
Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information.
Conduct all facets of protective duties.
Follow and enhance the directed Standard Operating Procedures.
Conducts ongoing threat, risk and vulnerability assessments.
Conducts protective advance operations.
Operates motor vehicles in a safe and legal manner.
Protection professionals must have a high level of emotional intelligence.
Available to work nights, holidays and weekends, travel domestically and overseas.
Bachelors degree preferred.
Must be physically fit and possess a valid driver's license.
Military, corporate security or law enforcement experience a plus.
Minimum of 3 years combined experience.
Possess excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills, have high levels of integrity, and trustworthiness.
Experience and understanding of corporate culture.
Experience with after action report writing.
Leadership and management experience desired.
Experience working with C-Suite level executives or equivalent.
Ex-Military/ law enforcement highly encouraged to apply.
