The Water Hygiene Engineer Role

• An established water treatment and compliance company is looking to appoint a water hygiene engineer to join its growing London team.
• This opportunity would suit a water hygiene engineer with industry or plumbing experience who wants to further develop technical skills in a safety-focused environment.
• The successful water hygiene engineer will work across commercial and public sector sites carrying out both planned and reactive compliance duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Typical duties for the water hygiene engineer include temperature monitoring, flushing outlets, water sampling, and TMV servicing.
• Inspection and disinfection of cold water storage tanks and calorifiers.
• Shower head cleaning, descaling, and general remedial works.
• Completing all tasks in line with ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01, and WRAS guidance while maintaining accurate service records.
