Location: East Molesey
Start Date: Monday 1st June 2026
Duration: Until 17th July 2026 (Half-Term Cover)
Working Pattern: Part-time (3 days a week) or Full-Time (5 days a week)

Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher looking for a rewarding short-term opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a supportive and well-structured SEND provision, working across specialist environments including a Speech, Language and Communication Needs centre and a nurture provision.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, supporting pupils with additional needs while working closely with a collaborative and experienced SEND team.

The Role:
You will be delivering high-quality teaching, interventions, and pastoral support across specialist provisions, ensuring continuity for pupils with SEND. The role combines hands-on teaching, coordination of Speech and Language Therapy (SALT), and leadership within a nurture setting.

Your Responsibilities:
✨ Delivering structured 1:1 and small group interventions
✨ Coordinating and supporting Speech and Language Therapy provision
✨ Supporting and reviewing SEND documentation, including ISPs and assessments
✨ Leading a nurture provision, including managing daily operations and supporting staff
✨ Completing assessment and progress monitoring for pupils
✨ Running and supporting sensory circuits for targeted pupils
✨ Working closely with SENCO, teachers, and support staff to ensure consistent provision
✨ Communicating effectively with parents and external professionals

What We're Looking For:
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔ Strong experience working with SEND, particularly speech, language and communication needs
✔ Confident leading interventions and managing specialist provision
✔ Excellent communication and organisational skills
✔ A nurturing, proactive, and adaptable approach
✔ Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
