CFD Engineer

Orion recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer (CFD) to join an innovative manufacturing company based in Birmingham.

CFD Engineer Shifts: Monday - Thursday 7:30 - 16:30 Friday 7:30 - 12:30

CFD Responsibilities:

Developing advanced CFD models to simulate real-world engineering problems.
Leading cross-functional design reviews and system model testing.
Collaborating with top-tier engineers to innovate and improve product design.
Driving continuous improvement and setting the standard for CFD excellence across IMI Critical Engineering.
Design optimisation
System functional and non-functional analysis
Investigate new technologies and stay on top of now product developmentCFD Required experience:

Hands-on experience with STAR-CCM, ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM or similar software systems in a professional manufacturing environment.
Strong experience in simulation, testing and continuous improvement
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
A “can-do, will-do” attitude with a passion for problem-solving and innovation.
