The RoleAs a Health & Safety Consultant, you'll play a key role in delivering expert advice, guidance, and on-site support to clients. You'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with H&S legislation, promoting best practice, and helping clients maintain safe, legally compliant operations.Key responsibilities include:Developing and implementing safe systems of work and operational proceduresActing as CDM Site Manager or Principal Contractor on project sites, including issuing Permits to Work (Hot Works, Confined Spaces, Excavations, etc.)Conducting and reviewing risk assessments and method statementsAdvising on specialist areas such as fire safety, hazardous substances, machinery safeguarding, CDM 2015, and occupational healthCarrying out site audits and inspections, reporting findings and recommendationsDelivering tailored H&S support and training to clientsProducing clear, concise management reports and updatesSupporting clients through H&S accreditation processesKeeping up to date with evolving legislation and industry best practiceWho This Role is Perfect ForThis role is ideal for a proactive, solutions-focused Health & Safety professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a tangible difference.
