Year 2 Teacher

Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of a three-form entry primary school in Barking & Dagenham who are looking for a Year Two Teacher for September 2024 start.

For this role, the teacher will need to be engaging, confident and creative, and will have experience planning towards the Key Stage 1 curriculum. QTS is essential for this role - overseas applicants with QTS would be considered as well as British Citizens. This would be a full-time, long-term post that will last until the end of the academic year with full teaching responsibilities involved.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience planning towards the Key Stage 1 Curriculum.
  • Experienced teaching phonics and planning towards phonics schemes.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service.
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
