Location: Basildon, Essex
Contract Type: Full-time & Part-time roles available
Contract Length: Perm or Temp-Perm
Start Date: September 2025 (Early starts available for the right candidates)
Salary: £18,525 - £24,239 per year (depending on hours and experience)
Hours: 25-38 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm)

We're looking for experienced and dedicated team members to join a warm, school based nursery on either a full time or part time basis. If you're energetic, nurturing, and thrive in a stimulating, child-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you!

🌼 What You'll Do:

Support the smooth daily running of your designated room and the wider nursery

*

Plan and lead engaging, child-led and structured activities aligned with EYFS standards

*

Act as a key person for a small group of children, monitoring their development and well-being

*

Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and your team

*

Champion equality, inclusion and safeguarding in all that you do

*

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety throughout the setting

*

Contribute to a fun, positive and professional work environment

*

Supervise and mentor students and junior staff

✅ What They're Looking For:

*

CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare & Education (or equivalent - please note, TA or Health & Social Care qualifications do not meet requirements)

*

A positive, reliable and enthusiastic attitude

*

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

*

A valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate (Not Essential)

*

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to have one processed)
