School Caretaker - Secondary School (Tower Hamlets)Start Date: As soon as possible

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and proactive Caretaker to join our welcoming secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a vital role within the school, ensuring that our buildings and grounds are safe, secure, and well-maintained for students, staff, and visitors.

The Role:

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of the school site

• Ensure the school is safe, secure, and presentable at all times

• Oversee site security, including opening and locking up the premises

• Monitor and maintain health and safety standards across the school

• Support with setting up for events, assemblies, and examinations

• Liaise with external contractors and support services when required

We are looking for someone who:

• Is dependable, practical, and takes pride in their work

• Has good DIY/maintenance skills and a problem-solving approach

• Can work independently and as part of a team

• Is flexible and willing to adapt to the needs of a busy school environment

• Ideally has previous caretaker or premises experience (though training can be provided)
