KS3- KS4 Behaviour Teaching Assistant/ Co-Teacher- Lewisham
A South London Secondary School is looking for an experienced Behaviour Teaching Assistant/ Co-teacher to start immediately or in January 2019 on a permanent and full-time basis.
*Do you have a background or degree in counselling, CBT, Psychology, Youth Community work (JNC) or youth work?*
*Have inclusion (behaviour) experience?*
*Experience working with 1-1 and small group sessions?*

The ideal Behaviour Teaching Assistant will be supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds by providing 1-1 and small group work for students in the school. Regular training for the Behaviour Teaching Assistant will be provided alongside continuous professional development sessions. In addition, the ideal Behaviour Teaching Assistant/ Co-teacher (due to the geographical area) may work with children from disadvantaged/influenced backgrounds. Bonds with students will need to be created with students for students to trust the Behaviour Teaching Assistant/Co- Teacher.
- Must have Behavioural (Inclusion) experience within a Secondary School
- Hold a degree in either Counselling, CBT, Psychology, Youth Community Work (JNC) or youth work or any other related degree
- Be able to understand and empathise with children's backgrounds
- Withhold from being judgemental or stereotypical about a child's background
