Hours: Days (Monday-Friday)

Are you an experienced Refrigeration Engineer looking for a stable, days-based role with an established manufacturing business? We're recruiting for a skilled engineer to join our team in Ipswich, Suffolk, supporting a busy production environment and ensuring our refrigeration and cooling systems operate at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain, service, and repair refrigeration and cooling plant across the manufacturing site

Diagnose faults and carry out preventative and reactive maintenance

Support continuous improvement and reliability of equipment

Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer in industrial or commercial environments

Relevant qualifications (FGAS / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent)

Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good understanding of maintenance procedures within a manufacturing setting
