A well-known and respected retail business is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Management Accountant to join the Finance team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role involves producing monthly management accounts, supporting wider teams through strong business partnering, and ensuring full statutory compliance. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and contributes proactively to business performance.
Key Responsibilities- Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts
- Ensure statutory compliance and meet reporting deadlines
- Partner with and support teams across the business
- Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts
- Highlight risks and opportunities to senior finance, offering solutions
Qualifications & Experience- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role (ideally retail/wholesale)
- Advanced Excel and strong systems knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Proactive, resilient, able to perform under pressure
- Collaborative team player with a can-do attitude
