Fire & Security Service Engineer - Subcontract Role

Location: Lancaster and south Cumbria
Rate: £34.00/hour (Outside IR35, weekly pay)
Contract Type: 6-Month Rolling Contract

V7 are working with a leading national security provider to recruit skilled Fire & Security Service Engineers for a long-term subcontract opportunity across the Lancaster and the wider south Cumbria region.

This is an excellent chance to step into a flexible, well-paid role with a company that values expertise and autonomy. You'll work independently across multiple housing sites, handling both reactive callouts and scheduled maintenance of life safety systems.

What You'll Be Doing

* Servicing and maintaining:

* Fire Alarm Systems

* Emergency Lighting

* Access Control

* Intercoms

* Diagnosing and resolving faults

* Managing your own daily schedule and workload

* Delivering excellent service across social housing contracts

The Offer

* £34.00/hour (Outside IR35, paid weekly)

* Unlimited overtime available

* Monday to Friday core hours (weekend work optional)

* 6-month rolling contract with high potential for extension

* Start immediately

What You'll Need

* Hands-on experience servicing fire & security systems

* Able to work independently and manage your own schedule

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Valid DBS (must be cleared prior to starting)
