A well-regarded civil engineering contractor, based in Aberdeen, is currently looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to strengthen its growing team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with proven experience managing projects on-site across sectors such as roads, groundworks, and infrastructure frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Apply a thorough understanding of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) best practice
Carry out regular safety inspections and ensure strict adherence to the company's HSEQ procedures
Lead, support, and mentor on-site project teams
Build and maintain positive working relationships across the site and with external stakeholders
Coordinate site logistics effectively to maximise efficiency and productivity
Ensure project delivery is on time, within budget, and in line with client specifications
Identify and manage project delays or unforeseen issues, implementing suitable solutions
Candidate Requirements

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Previous experience working as a Site Manager on civil engineering projects, particularly in roads, groundworks, and infrastructure
Sound understanding of health and safety legislation and procedures
Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
Valid CSCS card
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
Full UK driving licence
