Elevation Recruitment Groups Engineering Services Division are supporting a Specialist Industrial Machinery Manufacturing company based in South Yorkshire to recruit a Mechanical Installations and Service Engineer to join their busy Service team, who install and service bespoke machinery throughout the UK and overseas.Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Installations & Service Engineer include:

• Travel to customer sites to install bespoke manufacturing machinery
• Read engineering drawings and customer packs to ensure correct fitting, welding, and assembly of the machinery 
• Liaise with the client on site and troubleshooting
• Complete ongoing servicing for machinery throughout the service contract
• PPMs and remedial mechanical repairs, and recommend any upgrades or replacements
• Completion of all paperwork 

Essential experience and qualifications for the Mechanical Installations & Service Engineer include:

• Time Served Mechanical fitter from a special purpose/bespoke machinery/industrial machinery build background
• Apprentice trained/NVQ/BTEC/C&G mechanical qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an engineering background
• Willing to travel throughout the UK and overseas
• Understand and work to engineering drawings
• Welding skills
• Be able to install and service capital equipment
