Senior Fire Alarm Engineer – £37,000 + Benefits – Central London

The Role

We are looking for Senior Fire Alarm Engineers to join our team to cover Central London. TEFS specialises in Commercial Fire Alarm design, installation, commissioning, certification and maintenance; with other expertise in CCTV, Security Systems and Barriers, Gas Suppression and Associated Electrical Supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of a Senior Fire Alarm Engineer include, but are not limited to:

  • Installation, servicing, fault finding and repair of fire alarm systems in Commercial/ Hospitals / Educational premises.
  • Product and FIA training will be provided for the right candidate.

Formed in 1990, the Company took the decision in 2000 to focus solely on Fire and Security works in order to concentrate its activities. Our staff are highly skilled with all relevant training and qualifications and with over 80 years of combined experience in the field.

The Benefits

  • Basic Salary up to £37,000 (depending on experience).
  • 20 days holiday + your Birthday off.
  • All travel costs paid, & mobile phone provided as required.
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday.
  • Planned Overtime available (potential to be c.£8-10k) – No fixed call out rota.
  • Full-time, Permanent position.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Senior Fire Alarm Engineer are:

  • Excellent knowledge of BS5839.
  • FIA Accreditation (training provided for the right candidate).
  • You should be able to manage own work and excellent customer facing skills.
  • You must have experience working in a similar role in the fire industry.
  • You will have knowledge of Morley, Advanced, Apollo, Hochiki, Notifier, Gent and so on.
  • Due to the nature of some of our clients, candidates must be able to attain a satisfactory enhanced DBA screening result.
