Job Title: Recycling Operative / Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Ryton-on-Dunsmore (CV8)

Shift: 05:00 - 13:00, Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: £12.40 per hour

Job Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative / Counterbalance Forklift Driver based in the Ryton (CV8) area. This is a varied role working within a busy recycling and waste management environment. Around 70% of the role will involve recycling duties, including sorting materials and cardboard baling, with the remaining 30% operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move materials around the site.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is comfortable working in an industrial or yard-based environment and happy carrying out manual recycling duties alongside forklift work.

Key Duties:

• Sorting and handling recyclable materials

• Operating cardboard baling machines

• General recycling and waste management duties

• Loading, unloading and moving materials using a counterbalance forklift

• Keeping the work area clean and organised

• Following site health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence - ESSENTIAL

• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift

• Happy to carry out manual recycling and warehouse duties (majority of the role)

• Reliable and able to work the early morning shift

• Good awareness of health and safety in a warehouse or yard environment
