Graduate Teaching Assistant - Durham/Sunderland Secondary Schools

Just graduated and wondering what's next? A range of well regarded secondary schools across Durham and Sunderland are looking for enthusiastic graduates to join their teams as Teaching Assistants. We work with a mix of schools, each offering supportive environments, clear routines, and strong staff teams. What you'll be doing:

• Supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4 in a range of subjects
• Providing 1:1 and small group support, including students with SEND such as ASD, ADHD, and dyslexia
• Helping students stay focused, engaged, and confident in lessons
• Working alongside teachers to adapt resources and tasks
• Building positive relationships that support learning and wellbeing
• Contributing to a calm, purposeful classroom environment

You'll gain valuable experience across different schools and classrooms, building skills that set you up for a future in education, whether that's PGCE, educational psychology, SEND, or something else entirely.
