Our Facilities Team plays a crucial role in achieving this mission.

Job Description:

As a Multi-Skilled Trade Person you will be a vital member of their Facilities Team. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair various aspects of our student accommodation, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents. You will utilize your multi-skilled expertise to address a variety of maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Repairs: Perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of building systems and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and general building systems.
Emergency Response: Be available for on-call duties to respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, including evenings and weekends, to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they become critical, ensuring the longevity of facilities.
Adherence to Safety Standards: Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations to protect both yourself and residents.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, materials used, and completion status.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the Facilities Team to complete projects and resolve issues efficiently, working together to achieve department goals.
Resident Interaction: Interact with residents in a professional and courteous manner when conducting maintenance activities in their living spaces, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort.Qualifications:

Proven experience in a multi-skilled trade role, with skills in areas such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in one or more of the trade areas mentioned above.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Availability for on-call duties, including evenings and weekends.
A commitment to safety and a track record of adhering to safety standards.Salary and Benefits:
