The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced and professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for general haulage work with curtain side trailers. Join a reputable transport company based in Scunthorpe offering flexible shifts and consistent work.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 vehicles for general haulage (curtain side trailers)
- Complete UK-wide deliveries and collections
- Securely load/unload goods with attention to safety
- Accurately complete paperwork and logbooks
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects
✅ Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points (No DR, DD, or IN convictions)
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience with curtain side trailers preferred
- Strong communication & time management skills
- Safety-first mindset and professional attitude
