Job Title - Deputy Care Manager
Location - Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK
Setting - Solo placement Specialist Therapeutic children's home
Employment Type - Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern - 2 on / 4 off shift pattern (banked hours - 40 hours/week) + sleep-ins
Salary - £39,693.33 per annum (including sleeps)
Key Responsibilities
 Act as a therapeutic leader under the Registered Manager
 Support staff in delivering trauma-informed care
 Build strong relationships with the young person and key professionals
 Maintain and promote safeguarding, wellbeing and emotional development
 Monitor daily reports, care plans and ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements
 Level 3 Residential Childcare or equivalent - essential
 Experience in therapeutic or specialist childcare settings - preferred
 Senior experience in residential childcare - desirable
 Full UK Driving Licence and own car with business insurance - essential
