At Broadreach, we're working on behalf of a respected British manufacturer of marine hardware and sailing technology. With a legacy of innovation and quality, our client supplies performance equipment to boatbuilders, chandleries, and sailing professionals worldwide.

We're looking for a commercially focused Sales Manager with a genuine passion for sailing to lead business development across the UK and key international markets.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone who understands the sailing community and brings a successful track record in sales - particularly in technical or product-led sectors. You'll be based from the client's HQ with flexibility for hybrid working and regular travel to trade shows, customer meetings, and international accounts.

Responsibilities

* Lead and grow sales across OEM, trade, and distribution channels

* Build and maintain strong relationships with boatbuilders, distributors, and retailers

* Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and regattas

* Provide feedback to internal teams to support product development and marketing

* Produce accurate sales forecasts and commercial reports

* Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities in emerging markets

What We're Looking For

* Experience in B2B sales - ideally in marine, outdoor equipment, or a technical product sector

* A strong connection to sailing - whether through personal, professional, or sporting experience

* Natural relationship builder with strong influencing and negotiation skills

* Commercially astute, well-organised, and self-motivated

* Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally
