Description

Legal Cashier responsibilities:

• Manage daily banking transactions and ensure accurate recording
• Posting client receipts daily, including bank transfers, credit card payments, and cheques
• Handle client and office account reconciliations in compliance with legal regulations
• Process electronic payments, including CHAPS, BACS, and international transfers
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Respond to queries related to financial transactions and accounts promptly
• Processing client disbursements promptly and accurately
• Supporting month-end processes, including the posting of bills and credit notes
• Posting purchase ledger invoices and preparing scheduled supplier payments

Profile

A successful Legal Cashier should have:

• Previous experience in a Legal Cashier role
• Strong understanding of Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
• A proactive approach to work with a focus on accuracy and compliance

Job Offer

Legal Cashier:

• Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 per annum
• Additional benefits to be confirmed
