Supply Teacher – Grimsby & Surrounding Areas

Location: Grimsby & Humber region

Job Type: Flexible Supply (Mon–Fri)

Pay: £135–£170 per day (experience dependent)

We’re looking for a committed Supply Teacher to support a range of welcoming primary schools across Grimsby and surrounding areas. If you enjoy stepping into new classrooms, delivering engaging lessons, and making an impact wherever you go, this role is for you.

You’ll be supporting schools with planned and unplanned absences, ensuring learning continues smoothly while maintaining a brilliant work–life balance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing high-quality classroom cover across year groups from EYFS to KS2

• Delivering pre-planned lessons with confidence and clarity

• Creating a calm, positive and engaging learning environment

• Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies

• Supporting pupils academically, socially and emotionally

• Enjoying the flexibility of daily supply with the option of long-term roles

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in UK primary schools

• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
