Senior Engineer - Commercial / Industrial Construction - Yorkshire - Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a well-established main contractor, working across commercial and industrial build projects within the Yorkshire region. The company has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality design & build schemes, typically involving steel frame warehouses, industrial units, and complex commercial developments.

Role:
As Senior Engineer, you will play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered safely, accurately, and to the highest standard. Your responsibilities will include:

Checking and supervising subcontractors' works

*

Setting out and surveying for construction activities

*

Producing and reviewing ITPs and QA documentation

*

Coordinating with site teams, designers, and clients

*

Supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager in delivery of programme

*

Driving safety, quality, and efficiency on-site

Requirements:

*

Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent)

*

Proven experience as a Site / Senior Engineer on commercial or industrial build projects

*

Strong knowledge of steel frame construction, setting out, and QA processes

*

Ability to manage subcontractors and ensure works meet project specifications

*

CSCS card essential; SMSTS and First Aid preferred
