Job Role Responsibilities:

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning and delivery of multiple high-specification hotel furniture installation projects. This is a critical, client-facing leadership role that demands precision, commercial awareness, and a deep understanding of bespoke joinery within the hospitality industry.

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of bespoke furniture fit-out projects from award to handover
  • Develop detailed project plans, manage schedules, and coordinate site activities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for hotel clients, main contractors, architects, and internal teams
  • Ensure installation aligns with technical drawings, specifications, and design intent
  • Coordinate with the production team to align manufacturing with project timelines
  • Lead on-site meetings and provide regular progress reports to all stakeholders
  • Monitor installation teams and subcontractors for safety, quality, and compliance
  • Manage project budgets and work closely with the commercial team on valuations and variations
  • Resolve site issues promptly and effectively
  • Ensure a seamless client experience through high standards of service and delivery

The Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts or Project Manager in bespoke joinery or furniture fit-out
  • In-depth knowledge of furniture manufacturing, installation, and site coordination
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management skills
  • Commercially aware, with budget and subcontractor management experience
  • Able to read and interpret detailed technical/joinery drawings
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites across the UK and occasionally abroad
  • Trade or academic background in furniture, joinery, or interior fit-out
