Building Safety Manager - £60k | Hybrid | Social Housing

A forward-thinking housing provider is investing heavily in its Building Safety agenda, and this is a key hire. You'll take ownership of HRBs, act as the go-to expert on fire & structural safety, and influence at senior level. This is proper, visible leadership, not just ticking compliance boxes.

You'll lead a small specialist team, shape Building Safety Cases, and work closely with regulators, residents and internal teams to keep standards high and risks managed.

The essentials:

• Strong technical grounding across fire strategy, compartmentation & building systems
• Solid experience in building safety within social housing / HRBs
• Clear understanding of Building Safety Act & statutory compliance
• Confident influencing style - able to challenge and bring people with you
• Level 4+ in fire safety / compliance (NEBOSH Fire or similar)

The detail:

• £60,000 salary | 37 hours
• Hybrid working
• Travel across the South + London twice monthly
• Full UK driving licence required
