We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA2) to join our team starting in September 2025. This role involves working with Lower Key Stage 2, specifically Years 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in these year groups and must hold a TA2 qualification.
Day-to-day of the role: - Support the educational and social development of children in Years 3 and 4.
- Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering educational activities.
- Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
- Monitor and support the progress of students both academically and socially.
- Assist children with their learning activities in the classroom.
- Manage small groups of children or whole classes occasionally under the supervision of the teacher.
- Ensure the learning environment is safe and conducive to learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - TA2 qualification is essential.
- Experience working with children in Years 3 and 4 is preferable.
- Strong understanding of the educational needs and challenges of Lower Key Stage 2 students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
