We are currently seeking to hire an Outside Sales Manager to oversee and lead door to door solar sales reps in our Charlotte, NC. office. More specifically we as a company do a good job of hiring, on-boarding, training and preparing door to door sales reps to sell solar. But we need someone with experience to help them set their leads and close their deals till they are self sustaining.

 

Compensation :

We have found that our business is different than other businesses. In most businesses the manager is told what to do, how to do it, when to do it and if that happens the business will go well. Our business is different, the manager is the business and because of that we pay accordingly. We want the best. We want guys that are motivated and hungry and ready to solve problems. We want managers willing to be in area with their reps doing whatever it takes to help reps get through that initial stage. Because of the intensity of the job we are extremely aggressive with pay.

  • We do offer a base salary, negotiable with experience

  • The average solar install pays the rep that sold it around $2100

  • The average solar install pays the manager an override of around $360

 

  • Our best Outside Sales Manager is making $380,000 a year

  • Our worst Outside Sales Manager is making $90,000 a year

  • Our average Outside Sales Manager is making around $210,000

Responsibilities :

  • Build, develop and manage outside sales team

  • Oversee day-to-day sales operations of lead generation and closing

  • Hold daily sales training meetings and daily conference calls

Skills :

  • Experienced in sales (Background in door-to-door or business to business is helpful)

  • Management experience

  • Experience in recruiting

  • Driven and competitive
