This is a crucial leadership role, responsible for setting the vision, driving academic standards, and overseeing the curriculum, teaching, and learning within the Mathematics department. The Role
The Head of Maths will:
* Provide visionary leadership and management for the Mathematics department.
* Lead on curriculum development, assessment, and enrichment initiatives across all key stages.
* Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning, ensuring consistently high standards.
* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of dedicated Maths teachers, including performance management.
* Utilise data effectively to drive student progress and implement targeted interventions.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an outstanding Maths Teacher (QTS/QTLS) who:
* Has significant experience in a leadership role within a Maths department, ideally as 2iC or Head of Department.
* Possesses a proven track record of securing excellent student outcomes in Mathematics.
* Is a strategic thinker with a clear vision for the future of Maths education.
* Demonstrates exceptional communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
