We're seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our clients thriving Finance Department in Harrogate. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit monthly management accounts, balance sheet lead schedules, and cashflow forecasts within client reporting deadlines.
  • Support client annual statutory audits and ensure all contractual requirements are met.
  • Review and approve client annual operating budgets before presenting them.
  • Lead client meetings from a Finance perspective and follow up on action items.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures and controls.
  • Ensure excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a business partner between Finance and other departments.
  • Represent Finance in internal stakeholder meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory returns and accreditation requirements.
  • Develop and maximise the potential of your team through regular 1-2-1s and setting personal objectives.
  • Stay updated with industry initiatives and adopt best practices in GDPR.
 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or QBE with relevant management accounts and team management experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proven experience within business partnering and ability to present financial information to non-finance individuals.
