Full-Time 1:1 Tutor - SEMH Support Salford Full-Time | Monday-Friday 1:1 Alternative Provision Via Education Agency

Are you an experienced and resilient tutor with a passion for supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

We are currently recruiting for a full-time 1:1 Tutor to support a pupil in Salford who requires bespoke educational provision outside of mainstream school. This is a highly rewarding role where you will play a key part in re-engaging a young person with learning and building their confidence both academically and emotionally.

• Deliver personalised, differentiated lessons (core subjects such as English and Maths)

• Adapt teaching strategies to meet SEMH needs and learning gaps

• Provide consistency, structure, and clear boundaries

• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

• Track progress and provide regular feedback to the agency and relevant professionals

• Sessions may take place in the home or community setting

• Experience working with pupils with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or those out of education

• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

• A calm, patient and resilient approach

• The ability to build positive, trusting relationships

• Experience delivering tailored 1:1 learning

• QTS or relevant teaching/tutoring qualification (desirable but not essential)

• Full-time, consistent hours

• Competitive hourly rate
