A Tier One Main Contractor delivering a major hyperscale data centre in London is looking to appoint a Lead Technical Services Manager to take full ownership of a £100m+ MEP package.

This is a senior leadership role on a technically complex, fast paced mission critical scheme.

The Project

• Large scale hyperscale data centre
• Significant MEP value exceeding £500m
• Multi phase development
• Long programme duration with secured pipeline beyond completion

The Role

Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will lead the full MEP strategy from preconstruction through to commissioning and client handover.

You will manage a team of Technical Services Managers and take responsibility for:

• Overall MEP delivery and integration with CSA packages
• Design management and technical risk mitigation
• Subcontractor procurement support and performance management
• Programme protection and sequencing strategy
• Commissioning planning and energisation strategy
• Quality assurance and technical compliance
• Client and consultant engagement
• Sitting as a key member of the Senior Management Team

This is an operational leadership role, not just design coordination. You must be comfortable driving performance on a high value, technically demanding project.

Experience Required

• Proven delivery of large scale MEP packages £50m+
• Data centre or mission critical experience highly desirable
• Strong commissioning and testing knowledge

• Main contractor background preferred
• Strong Pre-construction expeirence
• Excellent subcontractor management capability
