Senior Consultant - Aria Operations for Networks (VMware)

We are seeking a Senior Consultant with strong Aria Operations for Networks experience to support a VMware-based environment in readiness for a major migration programme.

The consultant will be responsible for network traffic discovery, measurement, analysis and dependency mapping across complex virtualised estates.

This role suits a consultant comfortable operating at both technical and advisory level, engaging with infrastructure, network and migration teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment, configuration and optimisation of Aria Operations for Networks within VMware environments
• Carry out in-depth analysis of network traffic across virtualised workloads
• Perform application dependency mapping to identify communication patterns, flows and service interdependencies

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with VMware Aria Operations for Networks
• Solid understanding of VMware vSphere, virtual networking concepts
• Proven experience performing network traffic measurement and analysis in enterprise environments
• Experience supporting migration readiness initiatives (DC exit, cloud migration, platform modernisation)
• Good knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, Firewalls, load balancing)
• Ability to translate deep technical findings into clear, business-relevant insights
• Comfortable working autonomously in short-term, outcome-driven consulting engagements
