A well-regarded and inclusive primary school in Enfield is seeking to appoint a confident and motivated Year 6 Class Teacher to join their experienced Upper Key Stage 2 team from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position, suitable for experienced teachers or exceptionally strong Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about preparing pupils for secondary school.

Role Responsibilities:

Lead a Year 6 class with a focus on excellent academic outcomes, pupil confidence, and secondary school readiness.

Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the curriculum, particularly in English, maths and SATs preparation.

*

Use assessment data effectively to identify gaps and accelerate progress.

*

Create a structured, supportive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages independence and resilience.

*

Foster strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues to support holistic development.

*

Contribute to the planning and delivery of enrichment activities, residential trips and transition support.

*

Play an active role in school improvement initiatives and year group collaboration.

Candidate Requirements:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.

*

Solid understanding of the Year 6 curriculum, assessment frameworks and SATs expectations.

*

Proven ability to raise standards and secure excellent progress, particularly in Upper KS2.

*

Strong classroom management and a commitment to inclusion and equality.

*

High expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement.

*

Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills.

*

A proactive, reflective and resilient approach to teaching.
