About the opportunity A leading residential developer with a strong track record of delivering quality homes across London is seeking a motivated graduate to join their development consultancy team. This role offers the perfect platform for someone looking to build a career in property development, working at the intersection of land acquisition, sales strategy and market analysis.
What makes the role exceptional You'll be working directly with senior stakeholders across multiple disciplines, gaining exposure to the full development lifecycle from initial land appraisal through to sales strategy implementation. The role combines analytical rigour with strategic thinking, offering unparalleled insight into how successful developments are conceived, priced and brought to market.
Key responsibilities - Assist in preparing sales pricing and analysis for new land acquisition opportunities
- Collaborate with Land, Sales, Development, Commercial and Finance teams to analyse inputs for bid submissions
- Conduct competitor research including pricing, unit types, build quality and amenities
- Research local amenities including transport, schools, retail and employment hubs
- Benchmark specifications against competitors to support product positioning
- Track sales incentives and marketing strategies used by competitors
- Monitor housing market trends, demographic shifts and planning policy developments
- Support preparation of internal reports and presentations summarising research findings
Requirements - Recent graduate in Real Estate, Business, Geography, Urban Planning, Economics or similar
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Excellent attention to detail and research capabilities
- Written communication skills suitable for internal and external presentations
- Genuine interest in the property sector and housing market dynamics
- Confident, proactive approach with ability to manage multiple tasks to deadlines
- Full UK driving licence may be required depending on region and site access
- GIS (Geographic Information Systems) knowledge would be advantageous
