Our client is looking for an Airfreight Import Coordinator to join this busy team You will manage and operate Air shipments from start to finishThe role includes
· Creating and maintaining customer standard operating procedures
· Having a clear financial understanding of each job file(s) within your remit
· Providing accurate and timely reports to department manager
· Having ownership and taking accountability to deliver operational excellence
· Ensuring that a 'customer is king' ethos is always applied in actions for the business
· Delivering accurate and timely paperwork in relation to the creation and issuance of import documentation
· Demonstrating commercial acumen and an in depth understanding of the P&L of a job
· Freighting and Invoicing
· Creating operational reports and ensuring that anomalies are escalated appropriately
· Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers, airlines & overseas partners/agents
· Ensuring that Company policies and procedures are adhered toPerson specification
· Airfreight forwarding experience essential
· Must have knowledge and experience of customs
· Strong work ethic
· A 'can do’ attitude is applied with all communications
· Cargowise experience highly beneficialThe hours are 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Salary up to c£35K depending on experience
