About the Employer:

Currently operating with a turnover of around £200 million per annum, this privately owned specialist concrete frame & groundwork subcontractor builds packages/projects ranging from £5 million up to £100 million each. Their client base is a mixture of residential and commercial developers and main contractors, with live projects secured with some of the top names in and around London.

I am watching this business go from strength to strength, reinvesting constantly, and creating a stronger and stronger brand in the market. Clients are coming back for repeat work and new clients are knocking on their door because of the way they work and the reputation they have developed. Because of this, they are attracting some of the best talent in the market, and with plans to grow further, options still exist for people to progress in their career into senior positions. They really are one to watch and one to speak with if you're considering career options now.

Further details on this employer can be given upon request with the company name being disclosed.

About the Opportunity:

Our client is looking to hire a company-wide Temporary Works Coordinator to oversee the distribution, planning, and implementation of temporary works on every site across the business. The successful individual will work in partnership between the site and office teams making sure information is distributed properly and designs are incorporated accurately.

About the Salary / Remuneration:

As with many positions, the actual salary depends largely on the experience the chosen individual has, but I am looking to talk with people who have both worked on individual sites coordinating temporary works and those who have overseen temporary works for whole businesses, so I have kept the salary bracket fairly negotiable from £50,000 to £80,000 per annum plus benefits and bonuses.

About the Requirements:

For this position, I am looking to talk with people who have both worked on individual sites coordinating temporary works and those who have overseen temporary works for whole businesses. All applicants will need to have worked for RC frame and groundwork subcontractors in the UK and due to our clients location, should be based in or around London.

About Me, Your Consultant:

My name is Andrew Jackson and I am one of the founding directors of Cityscape Recruitment Ltd. I have over 18 years of experience in civil engineering & construction recruitment, during which time, I have specialised in the niche sectors of concrete frames, groundworks, basement construction, and demolition.

So, what does that mean for you? It means, I work with the vast majority of the groundwork & concrete frame businesses in the UK and I can help not only introduce you, but I can give you up-to-date information on each of them, helping you make an informed decision so you can take your career forward.

I've been doing this for a while now and I've maintained a positive reputation doing what I do for coming up to two decades, so hopefully that shows I have a process that you can trust. My job is simply to get you the options, give you the information, and then let you decide what feels right for you.

How to Apply:

I am more than happy to discuss these opportunities with you over the phone or face to face in a fully confidential manner (you can get to know me while I get to know you). And I know this is an incestuous sector and I fully understand the importance of keeping things discrete, with confidentiality being 100% guaranteed.

It would be ideal to see a copy of your CV to understand your previous experience and employment. In line with GDPR laws, nothing will be done with your CV/details until we have discussed the role in detail anyway, but having gained an understanding of your formal past, this may help when we come to discuss options.
