A highly respected environmental and ground investigation consultancy based in London is seeking a Principal Geoenvironmental Consultant to join and strengthen its established ground investigation and remediation team. This is an excellent opportunity to take a technical lead on a diverse portfolio of ground-related projects across London and the wider South East, with genuine influence over project delivery and a clear pathway for career progression.

As a Principal Geo-Environmental Consultant, you will:

  • Plan, specify and manage Phase I, II and III site investigations
  • Prepare and review technical reports, risk assessments and remediation strategies
  • Oversee contaminated land investigations covering soil, groundwater, ground gas and waste
  • Review project outputs to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards
  • Work closely with clients, contributing to business development, bidding and tendering

About the Principal Geoenvironmental Consultant selected

You will hold a BSc or MSc in an environmental or engineering-related discipline (such as geology, geoscience or earth sciences) and have substantial experience in contaminated land assessment, remediation and ground investigation.

You should be based in or near London, hold a full UK driving licence, have the right to work in the UK, and possess a valid CSCS card.

Chartered status, or demonstrable progress toward chartership, along with experience reviewing geotechnical work, will be highly advantageous.
