The company designs and manufactures life-saving technology used by aircrew around the globe.From January 2026, this position will operate on a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern (08:00–17:30) with shift allowance on top in the £28,000 salary. NDT Operative Duties:This is a varied, hands-on role working with life-critical components. Key duties include:

• X-Ray Inspection – Digital radiography and CT scanning for anomaly detection
• Proof Testing – Live testing of assembled components 
• Leak Testing – Helium testing with a mass spectrometer to tight specifications
• Visual Inspection – Ensuring all units meet rigorous engineering standards
• Assembly & Marking – Mechanical assembly build and inkjet part marking
• Packing – Safe, compliant packaging of high-value components
• Support Tasks – Movement of parts, tooling, and assisting with stock/hardware

NDT Operative Profile:

• Experience in NDT or similar technical inspection roles
• Confidence reading engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Familiarity with digital x-ray systems or ASNT Level 1 Radiography (desirable)
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong data analysis and documentation skills
