ROLE: Heating & Plumbing Breakdown Engineer
SALARY: £38,000 per year
LOCATION: Stoke-on-Trent - Covering Shropshire & West Midlands

WORKING HOURS:
* 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (one 11:30am - 8:00pm shift in every 8 weeks)
* Requirement to work one Saturday and one Sunday per month
DUTIES:
* Install, repair, and maintain heating systems in residential and commercial properties
* Troubleshoot and diagnose faults using mechanical knowledge and technical manuals
* Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
* Thread pipes and assemble system components according to specifications
* Perform heavy lifting and manual labour as required for installations and maintenance
* Drive company vehicles to deliver tools, equipment, and materials to job sites
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient project completion
* Provide general maintenance services as required
THE CANDIDATE:
* Minimum 2 years' plumbing experience (required)
* Previous experience as a breakdown engineer (preferred)
* CCN1 Domestic Gas Safety certification (required)
* City & Guilds qualification (preferred)
* Full UK driving licence with a clean record (required)
* Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly with HVAC systems
* Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
* Proficient in pipe threading and assembly techniques
