The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working in a school setting
Have a strong knowledge of Makaton/ BSL
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A nurturing, positive approach with a passion for supporting children's learning
The ability to adapt and respond to individual pupil needs

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and supportive learning experiences
Work in Year R with a small group of children with Hearing Impairments or an inability to communicate verbally
Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with additional needs
Promote positive behaviour and encourage children to reach their full potential
Work collaboratively with class teachers and other staff
Be actively involved in wider school life, including events and enrichment activities
