Head of Finance (Part-Time) | 2-3 days per week – flexible | Bournemouth (Office-Based) | £70,000 – £85,000 FTE (pro rata)

We’re partnering with a well-established, ambitious SME in Bournemouth looking to bring in a Head of Finance to elevate their finance function to the next level.

This role is about ownership, influence and building something that scales.

You’ll operate at a senior level, working closely with leadership to bring clarity, control and commercial insight across the business.

From strengthening governance and controls to enhancing reporting and developing the team, you’ll be the person who ensures finance is running efficiently and driving business decisions.

• Leading financial governance, controls and compliance
• Owning and signing off high-quality management reporting
• Providing clear, commercial insight to support strategic decisions
• Developing and mentoring a capable finance team
• Bringing structure, process and scalability to the function
• Acting as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders and external advisors

You’re a credible, commercially minded finance leader who enjoys operating at both strategic and oversight level.

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role
• Strong background in governance, controls and reporting
• Confident influencing at board level
• Naturally collaborative, with a passion for developing people

Experience in SMEs, professional services or agency environments would be a real plus.
