Are you a passionate HV Design Engineer looking to be part of an ambitious organisation with a clear vision to become a market leader in the power sector? This is a unique opportunity for a High Voltage expert to join a forward-thinking, fast-growing company working on some of the most innovative grid-scale projects in the UK.

You'll be surrounded by a dynamic team of experts and supported with hands-on training, mentorship, and structured career development. As part of a highly motivated team, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering up to 400kV electrical systems. You'll collaborate closely with senior engineers, project leads, and clients.

As a HV Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• High Voltage electrical designs up to 400kV
• Preparing and reviewing SLDs, layouts, cable sizing, protection schemes, and grid studies.
• Supporting CAD teams to produce AC/DC schematics, layouts, and cable route drawings.

The successful HV Design Engineer should have:

• High-voltage electrical design experience, ideally within the UK power sectors
• Sound knowledge of National Grid and DNO/IDNO design requirements
• Practical understanding of HV equipment (switchgear, protection relays, transformers)
