Job Overview: To lead the Homes and Community team in delivering high-quality housing management through a patch-based service model. Focused on tenancy sustainment, income maximization, and neighbourhood vibrancy, this role drives proactive engagement, supports vulnerable residents, and builds a resilient, thriving community environment.

Responsibilities include:

* Manage the full tenancy cycle, encompassing lettings, tenancy audits, sustainment planning, anti-social behaviour resolution, and enforcement, ensuring service compliance, resident wellbeing, and operational impact.

* Drive proactive tenancy engagement and long-term sustainment through service partnerships and team coordination.

* Champion community development initiatives, leading neighbourhood walkabouts, facilitating resident forums, and shaping the direction of community hubs.

* Deliver trauma-informed people leadership through supervision, coaching, performance reviews, and capability development across the team.

* Oversee internal housing pathways, ensuring seamless transitions between general needs and supported housing, aligned with resident needs and risk profiles.

* Ensure robust compliance with regulatory frameworks including housing legislation, Consumer Standards, safeguarding and domestic abuse protocols.

* Monitor, analyse, and improve housing performance metrics, translating operational data into service improvement strategies.

* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments including Income Recovery, Lettings, Property, Legal, Finance, and Customer Engagement to drive integrated delivery.

* Represent Trident externally, maintaining strategic relationships with local authorities, sector networks, and delivery partners.

* Contribute to the strategic evolution of services, supporting asset reviews, property strategies, and business development initiatives linked to organisational growth.

What You will Bring:

You will have:

* Experience in housing sector management, enabling confident delivery of tenancy sustainment and neighbourhood oversight.

* Proven ability in leading dispersed teams, ensuring consistent service delivery and performance accountability across multiple patches.

* Sound judgement in operational decision-making, supporting autonomous resolution of voids, arrears, and tenancy sustainment challenges.

* Strong track record in building internal and external partnerships to co-deliver services, shape engagement events, and develop community hub infrastructure.

* Confidence navigating regulatory frameworks and housing policy, including RSH Consumer Standards, Housing Ombudsman guidance, safeguarding protocols, and welfare reform.

* A commitment to resident engagement and satisfaction, with experience delivering inclusive service models and improving community involvement.

You will be knowledgeable in:

* Housing legislation and regulatory context, ensuring compliance and embedding tenant protections throughout service operations.

* Safeguarding and domestic abuse pathways, contributing to safe tenancy environments and trauma-informed risk management.

* The use of performance benchmarks and service metrics to analyse tenancy audits and drive meaningful improvement.

* Welfare reform and social policy, with the ability to link policy knowledge to practical tenancy sustainment and referral strategies.

* Health & Safety responsibilities, actively promoting safe working practices across estate services and housing teams.

* The operational management of grounds maintenance, damp/disrepair resolution, and estate services, aligned to satisfaction targets and value-for-money principles.

You will demonstrate:

* Inspirational management and coaching capability, embedding PIE principles and trauma-informed support across your team.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to build trust, support reporting, and strengthen team and resident engagement.

* Decisive autonomous decision-making, confidently resolving tenancy and property issues within a risk-aware framework.

* Strong data literacy, using analysis to inform service planning, measure outcomes, and develop strategic responses.

* Proficiency in housing systems and Microsoft 365, enabling accurate reporting, service tracking, and automation.
